The Health Benefits Of Avocados 
The avocado has become popular due to its creamy, mild texture and flavour.
Avocados are an excellent source of monounsaturated fat and vitamin E, yet very high in calories because of its high fat content. Half a avocado is equivalent to one portion of your 5 a day and it’s probably a good idea to limit yourself if your managing your weight to only 2 per week.
There are countless recipes with avocado, my particular favourite is with egg on sourdough toast as a snack but I have also used it to make chocolate icing on healthier chocolate cake. It’s also good to add to a salad or mashed to make guacamole.
