Why Volume Eating Is the Ultimate Weight Loss Hack
Losing weight by eating more is like winning the weight-loss lottery , it sounds too good to be true. But when you look at the calorie density of the foods you’re eating, the chances are you can totally cut calories but add more volume to your meals.
Swapping some of the high calorie foods that you consume for options that are lower calories but higher in nutrients can help you maintain a calorie deficit while warding off hunger. Here are some examples on how to.
Volume eating can help but first of all ditch “the more food equals more calories” mentality. Replace high calorie foods with low calorie, nutrient dense foods. Examples of such foods are vegetables, for instance leafy greens, which have higher water and fibre, therefore you can eat more in a day. For examples, Spinach = 7 calories per cup,
Lettuce = 7 calories per cup
Cabbage = 22 calories per cup
Brown rice = 150 calories per half cup
Chicken breast (3.5 ounce) =165 calories per serving
Non fat yogurt =129 calories per cup
Cottage cheese = 110 calories per cup
If you frequently find yourself looking in the snack cupboard ?then you might have to start eating more higher volume density foods in your meals to keep calories low and support weight loss.
To be able to start doing this it may take some time regarding meal prep but it can help staying in a calorie deficit and provide your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs. Try also to be creative and experiment with your meals.

Wouldn’t it be great if this was the case?
Is there such a thing that can be sustainable and safe? ?
We see so many posts promoting products that claim to do exactly this. People posting pictures of meals and then on the flip side a picture promoting products because they can take it after that meal and it’s all good ?
A diet should be based on healthy choices and be sustainable. After all a bad diet
equates to bad choices ??♀️
A bad choice does not make you a bad person, it makes you human.
Making bad choices because you believe popping a pill will eradicate the fat could potentially lead to weight gain and other health complications.
Enjoy your food, don’t beat yourself up, tomorrow is a new day to get back on track.

Today is how we look at difficulties, challenges and how we interpret them.
There is no doubt that 2020 has been a unusual year. How have you dealt with it? Have you adapted to changes or do you wish you could restart the year? Changes are inevitable in life yet even large well established corporations have struggled to meet those changes. Mindset is key to change. @henryford said it well. #”whether you think you can or think you can’t – you’re probably right.

Nutrition is key to a healthy body. There is a common thought that you can lose weight and get healthier by exercising a lot. A person can change their body composition through diet alone without exercise. However it’s the combination of both that provides a complete healthy package. Applying the 80 percent nutrition-to-20 percent fitness rule is simply a statement of the importance of nutrition in the equation.

We only live once is a well used phrase. When your time passes what will be said of you? What legacy will you leave behind? What will be the hyphen on your gravestone say? We only live once, make the most of it.

This is now the new norm. We spend more time on our electronic devices than speaking face to face. There are pros and cons to this but how do you make a balance of social time and downtime or do you merge them? Food for thought.

A typical diet is made up of different types of fat. While you need to make sure you eat foods that contain healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, too much saturated fat can increase the amount of cholesterol in your blood, which can increase your risk of developing coronary heart disease.
You can have a high cholesterol level even if you are a healthy weight. And even if your cholesterol level is healthy, it’s important to eat well and to be active to keep your heart healthy.
Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats provide essential fatty acids and fat soluble vitamins – so they’re an important part of your diet.
Wherever possible replace saturated fats with small amounts of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
The average man should have no more than 30g of saturated fat a day, and the average woman no more than 20g a day.
Why do you need carbohydrates? Carbohydrates are your body’s main source of energy: They help fuel your brain kidneys heart muscles and central nervous system. For instance fiber is a carbohydrate that aids in digestion helps you feel full and keeps blood cholesterol levels in check.

Same weight different shapes.
This image highlights the misconception that you do not always have to drop pounds.
Inch loss is something that people don’t take into account when dieting as they think it’s all about the scales.
After all a 1lb is a 1lb
Try measuring yourself rather than jumping on the scales and becoming disheartened
